Pamela Lydon dances as a soloist and with her company, Pamela Lydon and Dancers. A graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program at the University of Michigan, she has built a reputation as a postmodern choreographer and has enjoyed full time faculty status at university, community college, New York professional school and studio alike. Lydon has mounted more than fifty dances, from one-minute vignettes to evening-length works, and enjoys the challenge of working with new dancers and new companies. She directs the dance department at North Harris College in Houston, TX, and has recently completed a master workshop for the ballet company, Houston Dance Theatre. She is Artistic Director of Pamela Lydon and Dancers and North Harris College Dancers. |
